Naoto's a tiny ninja monkey who likes to climb trees and scale buildings. SHE'S NOT LIKE... PARKOUR-LEVEL OR ANYTHING but her speed and evasion stats are p. good and she can do flips and shit, etc. She's more flexible and bendy and can dodge better, too.

Does what it says on the tin, basically.

What does this mean in Aather? Well, aside from the fact that Naoto's ability to annihilate things has increased, she now has elemental affinities when she fights, specifically Light and Dark. Light/Dark skills in Megaten games are kkkkkkind of the equivalent to Holy/Death skills in FF games, but this is admittedly a loose comparison. For example, I don't think Naoto using Hamaon on a horde of zombies would be as effective as casting Holy, but I do think it would be more effective than an otherwise standard spell.

There's no way I can make a comparison for Almighty skills, though. Those spells are just summoning a mystical bomb on the enemy's face. :x BUT the point is, anyone who would notice spiritual changes can pick up on this.

Naoto is a smart cookie! As a child, she was what is generally referred to as a prodigy, and at no point did her pursuit of education cease. Now, despite the fact that she attends high school at her appropriate age level (freshman), Naoto's intelligence when measured in academic terms is far beyond her peers. I estimate she's somewhere in mid-university level at least, maybe further when it comes to certain subjects.

While her detective skill gives her knowledge of topics such as biology, law, history, psychology, medical science, and philosophy, her academic knowledge not only expands on what she already knows, but also gives her knowledge of subjects like economics, literature, advanced mathematics, art, music, foreign language, and so on.

Form: A small chocolate truffle ♥

COMBAT SKILL GET YEAHHHHH. Naoto's primary weapons are pistols, but this skill includes a variety of handhelds, as well as knowledge of their use and general combat readiness as a ranged fighter. She usually keeps it clipped to her belt and despite being tiny, experiences very little recoil.

Form: A small, flat box in your team color! Inside, you'll find eight sugar cubes! One is your skill. Three are sugar! One is salt. And the last may leave you feeling quite loopy for a little bit ♥

This is the first of several handywoman skills! The electronics part is reserved for smaller devices, like watches, phones, light fixtures, fans, etc. Basically anything with basic battery components (as well as batteries themselves) and a small amount of programming. Her theoretical knowledge of how devices work is strengthened, as well as identifying how and why something isn't working. Most importantly, she now has the ability to start building more complex items as long as they involve standard electronic components (think copperwire and various conduits). This also includes knowing what to do with your standard toolbox set.

Earned Day 124
Form: a tiny sugar sculpted bed
Taken: No

Pretty straightforward! Naoto spent years and years, all throughout childhood and adolescence, learning and studying everything she would need to become an ace detective. This includes things like criminal law and history (Japan-centered but probably also some other countries for comparison), psychology, investigation techniques, how to question and corner a suspect, interrogation, evidence-gathering, logical fallacies, argumentation theory, philosophy, etc. There's also some stuff about crime scene investigation, but it's only in recognizing clues and making inferences, not on the proper ways to get evidence from a crime scene. Basically this skill makes her quicker and more adept at reasoning like a detective.
Starting memory: The official beginning of Naoto's arc; discussing theories and going off to be a reckless badass.
