This is Sukuna-Hikona, Naoto's first-tier Persona! He is about half the size of Naoto (so think like 2 1/2 feet tall), and wields an impressively long light-saber that unfortunately is cut off in every single picture of him. :( Spiritually he is completely identical to Naoto, so think of him like her soul pokémon. When she summons him, Naoto's stats change to reflect his skills/strengths/weaknesses, outlined thus:

Starting Level: 55
Arcana: Fortune
Strength: 32
Magic: 38
Energy: 32
Agility: 40
Luck: 31
Resistances: Light/Dark

Starting skills:
Tempest Slash (15% HP) - Large Physical damage, hits 1-2x. 1 foe.
Mudoon (15 SP) - 50% chance of instant death by Dark. 1 foe.
Hamaon (15 SP) - 50% chance of instant death by Light. 1 foe.
Megidola (32 SP) - Large Almighty damage. All foes.
Deathbound (20% HP) - Large Physical damage. All foes.

What does this mean in Aather? Well, aside from the fact that Naoto's ability to annihilate things has increased, she now has elemental affinities when she fights, specifically Light and Dark. Light/Dark skills in Megaten games are kkkkkkind of the equivalent to Holy/Death skills in FF games, but this is admittedly a loose comparison. For example, I don't think Naoto using Hamaon on a horde of zombies would be as effective as casting Holy, but I do think it would be more effective than an otherwise standard spell.

There's no way I can make a comparison for Almighty skills, though. Those spells are just summoning a mystical bomb on the enemy's face. :x BUT the point is, anyone who would notice spiritual changes can pick up on this.
